"Giving Tuesday," or better known as the National Day of Giving is fast approaching on November 29th.
National Giving Day is always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving Thursday. It was only founded in 2012 as a result of a partnership with the United Nations Foundation. The reason for the establishment of Giving Tuesday is to inspire people and companies to take action.
Personally, I like to think of it was a way to give back to the people that have given you, or us, so much. Even if it is just a $2.00 planner you bought from the local Drug Mart, a small token of appreciation can go a long a long way when gifted to someone without an expectation of how they will or should use such gift.
